Why MedGuard was created
The Red Sea region of Egypt is one of the world's leading travel destinations, welcoming millions of international visitors every year.
As international travel increased, insurance companies and assistance providers began facing growing challenges in medical claims management, including unusually high medical invoices, inconsistent billing practices, limited transparency and suspected fraud or abuse involving travel insurance cases.
MedGuard was established to address these challenges through independent verification, objective reporting and local expertise.
Our role is to help insurers and assistance companies verify medical claims, review treatment necessity, validate medical documentation, investigate suspicious cases and ensure that billing practices remain transparent and justified.
